Nicoma is uniquely structured in that no one individual has a set job per se but each person can overlap.  Headley believes this makes a stronger more cohesive team whereby everyone has an in-depth ‘feel’ for all aspects of the business.  On saying that however, each person brings their own unique quality which reinforces the partnership and gives Nicoma an edge in terms of experience in various capacities.

You have already learned of Headley's line of expertise but what he contributes in human terms is integrity, kindness and sensitivity to the particular needs of his clients. As we stress so often, making money or commissions is not the ultimate goal. 

It is more important that what is bought or set up for the clients will not only satisfy them but will contribute to their program. When they do well — Nicoma does well. 

Janie Hardin has worked at Nicoma for 19 years. Her original pursuit was insurance, however everything to do with Nicoma filters through her desk. This involves stallion seasons and shares, contracts, billing or syndicate correspondence, and EBF (European Breeders Fund) queries. Headley consults with her on all potential projects. Her professionalism, logic and constant good humor make her an indispensable member of the team. 

In 2007 Gatewood Bell joined Nicoma as a full service bloodstock agent. Assisting in all aspects of service, his pedigree knowledge and hands-on track experience brings depth to our team. Gatewood’s input in the day to day workings of Nicoma brings fresh perspective, sound judgement, and forward thinking optimism.
