  • Headley Bell

    Headley Bell is recognized counselor and advisor to many leading owners/breeders including two Kentucky Derby winners, and two Horse of the Year titleholders that include; 2011 American Horse of the Year Havre de Grace and 2011 Canadian Horse of the Year Never Retreat for Nancy Dillman, 2006 Kentucky Derby winner Barbaro for Roy and Gretchen Jackson, and 2007 Kentucky Derby winner Street Sense for Jim and Gus Tafel.  Bell assisted with the mating of Breeder’s Cup winner Artie Schiller for Haras du Mezeray, Blue Grass winner Monba for Alice Chandler and Audrey Otto, 2008 European Champion Filly Rainbow View for longtime client George Strawbridge Jr., and 2012 Frontrunner (G1) winner Power Broker, for breeder Audrey Otto.

  • Price Bell Jr.

    At the age of twelve, Price Bell Jr. had the privilege to begin working at Mill Ridge Farm under the tutelage of he team responsible for raising generations of great Thoroughbreds. Graduating from Vanderbilt University with a degree in economics, Price enjoyed a successful career in commercial real estate management and development; the lessons and tactics of which he employs daily. Upon completing his MBA from Vanderbilt's Owen School in 2010, Price returned to Lexington and his life's passion, the Thoroughbred industry. His devotion for assisting clients, manifested itself walking with Aurelia's Belle and the Miller family into the paddock of the 2014 Kentucky Oaks. With conviction for the sport and believing in the great opportunity to develop the industry's fan base, Price became actively involved with the founding of Horse Country. Additionally, he is privileged to serve on the boards of the KTA-KTOB, TOBA, National Museum of Racing, Fayette Alliance, and the North Limestone Community Development Corporation. Price is passionate about achieving client's goals, introducing people to the horse, and celebrating the amazing animal that is the Thoroughbred.


  • Janie Hardin

    Janie Hardin has been with Nicoma for 25 years originally hired to assist with insurance. Today she is involved with stallion seasons and shares, contracts, billing or syndicate correspondence, and EBF (European Breeders Fund) queries, however everything to do with Nicoma filters through her desk. Her professionalism, logic and constant good humor make her an indispensable member of the team.
